Tellus 360 Ireland Trips

So, did you know that Tellus360 runs trips to Ireland a couple times every year? We’ve been running these tours of Ireland since around 2012, taking no more than 26 guests at a time. We partner with a local tour company in Ireland (Beoga Travel by Lally Tours), and spend 9 days exploring the best that Ireland has to offer.

If you’ve ever considered a trip to Ireland, then we strongly recommend you join this tour!

Update from Mairtin – December 2024

Hello from Galway, Ireland,

I hope that you are keeping well and happy! I know most of you who are reading this, but there are also a bunch of new subscribers to this mailing list. So, for those who don’t know, this is Mairtin Lally here with Lally Tours in Ireland, we host that Tellus360 Ireland Trips here in Ireland and I also used to work at Tellus360 for 4 years way back in the early days… We’re coming into our 12th year of doing Tellus360 Trips to Ireland and this year we also ran one to Scotland which was awesome! Kind of mad to see how it has developed over the years, and super-exciting that it’s still seems to be as popular a trip as ever. In true Tellus360 spirit, we’re going to keep developing it, making it better and taking it to new places, literally.

So what are the plans for 2025 and 2026? Well, we’ve been selling out most of these trips to Ireland and lot’s of you have asked about returning to see more of Ireland and also to venture up into Scotland. We’ve also had some late night chats with some of you about perhaps adding Portugal and Iceland into the mix. Those of you who know us will know that we’re always up for an adventure and we love to travel and explore! So if you’re game for it then so are we!! To give you an idea of where we’re at right now:

2025

Winter 2025 – Myself, Kristin and Dara are making a trip to Lancaster at the end of Feb and/or beginning of March and we’ll definitely doing at least one meet-up event in Tellus360. I’ll keep you guys in the loop as plans come together and we’d love to see you for a catch-up!

Spring 2025 – We’ve recently had three spaces open for the May 2025 Ireland Trip.. All the details are here… CLICK HERE. It’s first come first served, and then a waitlist applies. (If you know a friend who’s interested feel free to forward this email over to them)

Summer/Fall 2025 – There is a POTENTIAL that we will be able to run another Ireland Trip in late summer or early fall. Is this something you’d be interested in? If so please let us know your preferences in this super-quick survey: CLICK HERE FOR SURVEY

2026 and 2027

We’re putting these plans together right now and would love to know your thoughts.. We’re thinking Ireland and/or Scotland and/or Portugal and/or Iceland.. Could you do us a favour and let us know your thoughts? It’s a super quick simple survey and I’d really appreciate your direction on this.

I think that’s all for now, I’ve taken enough of your time – I’ll be back out with another update soon!

Take care and chat soon,
Mairtin and the team at the Lally Tours / Tellus360 Ireland Trips desk

What kind of an Irish Bar / Music Venue runs trips to Ireland!??

For that we need to look back to 2012 when the whole Tellus360 thing was getting off the ground. 24 East King Street was the home to the first of what turned out to be many iterations of Tellus360.

Folks were visiting the store for shopping, art, furniture and gifts. Really, I think they were just visiting for the free wine and to hear Joe’s hearty laugh echo throughout the building.. Regardless of why they were there, nearly everyone would be talking about their connections to Ireland; how beautiful it is, and that they always wanted to visit, but never had the chance or that the timing was never right. Actually, the most frequent excuse was that it was too expensive, and took a month to fly there.

In hearing this all too often:  “Feck it, we should organise a trip to Ireland! It will be class!!!”

And now, 10 years later, we’re looking for the next group of victims to come join us on what has been dubbed as the “trip of a lifetime” – Just ask anyone who has been on this trip with us before 🙂

Tell me a bit more about the trip…

The premise of the trip is to bring you to our absolute favorite places in Ireland. And these places are Galway, Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher, West Clare, Dingle, West Cork, Kilkenny and everywhere in between.

We spend our days walking and wandering around villages and back-roads throughout. We spend our nights hunting down the best traditional Irish music sessions available.

As a group, we will enjoy a range of activities and attractions. These will include visiting a whiskey distillery (at least one), food tours, sailing on the Atlantic Ocean, Irish sports exhibitions, wildlife experiences and the famous SURPRISE SUNDAY! Golfers will have the change to take in a round of golf, if they want, and hikers will have the change to hike the world famous Cliffs of Moher. You also have the choice to just chill out and have a beer – Whatever you’re in to!

Is this the right trip for me?

If it’s leprechauns and Blarney stones and a whistle-stop tour that you’re looking for then maybe this trip is not for you. This trip is very casual, and the group tends to be very easy-going. We’re more focussed on giving you a taste of the true Ireland, with plenty of opportunities to meet our family, friends and other locals in the smaller towns around the country.

The towns we visit are usually a good mix of both “on” and “off” the beaten track. The activities are great fun, inclusive and unique. The food is fantastic, and the beer and whiskies are world class! The beds are super-comfy, the transport is smooth, and the start times are both sensible and flexible.

Most importantly: your guides are hilarious, drop-dead gorgeous and amongst the most modest in Ireland 🙂

If you’re not sure, just set a time to get on a call with Mairtin and we can give a better idea if this is for you – CLICK HERE

Ok – I’m interested.. What next?

I’d like to book! Great! Scroll back up and pick a date!
I’d like to chat with someone about the details No problem – Click here to arrange a call with Mairtin or email mairtinog@lallytours.com
Is there an opportunity to meet with someone face-to-face? Absolutely – Every so often we will host Ireland Trip Information Night’s at Tellus360.   These are usually paired with a reunion party for previous guests of the trip, so you’ve a chance to speak with those who’ve been on the trip before.
